Senior Financial Analyst - Commercial Properties

Kitson & Partners is an award-winning, privately held residential and commercial real estate investment and development company headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Analyst to join our energetic and dynamic Finance team. The successful candidate will be able to work independently in a fast-paced work environment.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Analyst provides commercial real estate investment, operations, financial modeling, performance tracking, asset management support, and underwriting analysis for retail and residential development acquisitions. 

Primary responsibilities include:

• Collaborative work with Retail Division to update investment models and proformas and provide full analytical, strategic, and financial support.
• Formulate, monitor and forecast strategic and financial analysis of the retail portfolio
• Assist with creation of strategic business plans to maximize the value of the company’s retail assets.
• Monthly, quarterly and annual budget and forecasting, annual business plan and annual budget input.

• Analysis of new investment opportunities for Company growth.
• Market research to identify key real estate and economic trends, risk and opportunities.
• Ad-hoc reporting and analyses.

Skills we require:

• Detailed understanding of MS-Excel, ARGUS DCF, and ARGUS Enterprise

• Proficient understanding of commercial / retail real estate development and construction costs, for financial modeling and underwriting.
• Strong understanding of business principles with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data.

• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting or Real Estate.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a finance related role within the real estate sector, retail experience preferred.
