Job Description

Wells Hill seeks an enthusiastic candidate to fill a position as an Associate.  Because of the small size of Wells Hill, professionals at every level of the firm play a significant role in each transaction.  Responsibilities include modeling of deal financial structures, on-site property and market studies, production and presentation of offering documents, memos, research reports, and business analyses, and regular interaction with clients and counterparties.  The firm provides the opportunity for Associates to assist in developing business, marketing property, raising capital, closing deals, and eventually leading transactions on both the advisory and principal investment sides of the firm.  The position is based in Manhattan.

Qualifications

Wells Hill provides an environment that demands and rewards hard work, but which does not routinely require extreme working hours.  Successful candidates for the Associate position should be highly self-motivated, intelligent, and straightforward.  Candidates should be extremely proficient in financial modeling in Excel and Argus.  Candidates also should possess strong writing skills.  Proficiency with Word and PowerPoint is required.  In addition, candidates should be able to learn quickly, take responsibility, work independently, and think strategically.  Lastly, Wells Hill is seeking candidates with 3-5 years of experience in real estate and finance – real estate private equity fund experience is a plus.
