Description


As Regional General Manager- Multifamily and Hospitality, you are responsible for driving the overall execution (creation and ongoing ownership) of the operational excellence of your WhyHotel properties, including budgetary efficiency, proactive and effective maintenance, competitive growth-oriented pricing, and the experience of everyone onsite – employees, residents, guests, third-party partners, and building ownership/management.


JOB DUTIES

  • Stand up your assets operational structure, including the hands-on implementation of all back-end and access systems, programming of front and back of house spaces, and creation of SOPs; all in partnership with a cross-functional support team
  • Support talent acquisition efforts for all operations roles within your WhyHotel properties
  • Develop and execute building-specific reporting
  • Oversee and drive ongoing performance of a skilled, timely and proactive maintenance plan 
  • Collaborate with members of our Revenue Team on unit pricing, working alongside the VP of Operations to create an amenity unit pricing structure that balances value and competitive pricing to drive leasing wins
  • Oversee, support and train team members on WhyHotel SOPs and programs
  • Take full ownership of onsite operations, collaborating cross-functionally and within your onsite property teams to develop and implement best practices geared towards optimizing occupancy, net rates, social and listing marketing, and overall experience
  • Ensure all of your properties are maintaining a consistently high level of service and meeting WhyHotel’s brand standards
  • Oversee accounts receivable management within your WhyHotel properties to drive down balances and convert to NOI


QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have previously run Class A high-rise residential operations with multiple teams reporting to you directly, including administrative staff, sales/leasing professionals, and building engineers.
  • You have managed multiple buildings simultaneously.
  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in hospitality, business administration, or finance, or you have commensurate experience in lieu of a formal degree.
  • You have experience with pricing and revenue management and understand how to use it to drive occupancy, minimize vacancy loss, and build NOI.
  • You have successfully cultivated, managed, and owned high-level relationships onsite and leveraged them to address competing priorities.
  • You have a strong track record of driving team performance and making effective decisions in order to beat budget while maintaining exceptional service levels.
  • You can demonstrate a consistent track record of positive resident experiences, culture building, asset health and functionality, and strong financial management skills.
  • You are a hands-on leader who supports your team and takes an active role in growing and developing them.
  • You lead by example and embody the core values of WhyHotel.
