Restore Utah is a fully integrated institutional real estate investment, construction and property management firm with over $170mm of assets under management. We have a growing portfolio of residential rental properties focused on providing quality affordable housing for low- and moderate-income families along the Wasatch Front and plans to expand its acquisition footprint to surrounding western states.
We’re looking for an analyst to support the management and growth of our investment portfolio and help us expand into other markets. This is the perfect role for someone who loves to network, is self-motivated and enjoys being part of an entrepreneurial team. The role includes pursuing a variety of sourcing opportunities including developing and maintaining broker relationships, direct phone contact, mailings, and other networking opportunities. The successful candidate is incredibly comfortable on the phone and enjoys actively pursuing new investment opportunities. As investment opportunities are identified, the analyst will underwrite and value the apartment acquisition opportunity with logic and data backing up the fundamental assumptions. The candidate will support the offer, due diligence and closing phase of the transaction. The successful candidate can analyze complex information and provide logical and profitable solutions that are simple to understand. Attention to detail is a must with a strong analytical ability to identify opportunities for value creation within our existing funds. The role includes evaluating portfolio performance and budget comparisons. Additional responsibilities and job summary below.
• Become a submarket expert in our target markets
• Maintain and expand database of property owners in our target markets
• Develop systems and scripts for regular contact
• Employ a sales strategy to prospect acquisition targets and develop relationships with brokers and clients. This may include all or some of the following:
• Underwrite apartment acquisitions and pitch the investment team
• Support due diligence activities once properties are under contract
• Work with lenders on a variety of requests including closing new loans, construction draw’s and loan pay off’s
• Analyze financial performance of the portfolio and work with property managers to implement value enhancing strategies
• Update fund forecasts and models
• Track budget to actual performance for operation and construction budgets
Experience:
• Previous real estate investment experience preferred but will train a candidate with the right blend of skills and drive.
• Sales experience is preferred
• Ability to work unsupervised and have an extremely high level of determination to close deals
• Ability to meet deadlines and quotas
• Ability to effectively communicate via phone, email, and in person
• Ability to learn new software
• Proficient in Excel
• High degree of initiative and self-motivation; strong problem solving skills

- Calling, emailing, and mailing owners to determine if they are interested in selling their property
- Prospecting on LinkedIn and other CRE Groups
• Underwrite apartment acquisitions and pitch the investment team

• Work with lenders on a variety of requests including closing new loans, construction draw’s and loan pay off’s
• Analyze financial performance of the portfolio and work with property managers to implement value enhancing strategies
