Construction Manager Los Angeles, California

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Bid new renovation projects  
• Manage and lead construction coordination for multiple multifamily projects in various stages of the construction cycle
• Supervise the daily, weekly and monthly construction activities of the company to ensure that projects are constructed on time, budget and with proper means / methods
• Work properly maintain project budgets, change orders and cost overruns
• Provide daily or weekly project updates as needed to company principles
• Identify qualified subcontractors and in conjunction and oversee the bidding process
• Establish preliminary budgets in close coordination with subcontractors and update as needed as project plans develop
• Perform inspections for quality control compliance and provide report for corrective action.
• Provide project job reports with pertinent activities and progress to be turned in weekly 

Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required

• Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in multifamily development, construction or related field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal oversight as well as in a cohesive team environment
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, along with an ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
• General understanding of permitting inspection process as it relates to schedule sequencing
• Organizational skills in a very fast-paced, constantly changing environment
• General computer skills with experience using Microsoft Outlook
• Must be resourceful, flexible, and react and respond quickly
