Job Overview
The Property Coordinator supports the property management team in the day-to-day operations of the industrial real estate portfolio. This is a full-time, salaried position.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to property management team on an assigned portfolio
- Responsible for ensuring excellent tenant service by responding to all requests in a timely and courteous manner and following up to ensure satisfactory resolution of any issues.
- Prepare and maintain property and tenant lease files, records, correspondence, and notes.
- Assist with administering tenant occupancy including lease abstracting, insurance requirements, rent collection, and maintenance request procedures.
- Maintain vendor files to include preparing contracts, ensuring insurance compliance, after-hours emergency call lists
- Assist in the completion of transaction checklists associated with portfolio activity
- Assist in the application process of all Real Estate Tax Appeals.
- Coordinate and schedule inspection and appraisals, appointments, meetings, and conference calls.
- Obtain bids for property repairs and maintenance.
- Prepare purchase orders and expense reports.
- Become proficient with the different Chart of Accounts to assist with Accounts Payable process.
- Assist as needed in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and monthly reporting.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university, with two to three years of relevant industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Relevant commercial real estate management experience, preferably with experience in industrial real estate management.
- Understanding of real estate fundamentals and basic terminology.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Knowledge with Yardi Voyager, MRI, and Kardin a plus.
