After five years with us, our Controller is returning to Florida to be near family. We seek a highly qualified and energetic team player to join our growing company.

THE POSITION

Our Controller is a key member of the Management Team, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and CEO. The Controller supervises the Accounting Manager and other junior staff. He or she assists the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Business Development Officer by providing financial insight.

The Controller s duties include the following:

• Oversee all accounting activities;
• Produce footnoted GAAP and tax basis financial statements for parent and property entities;
• Manage the generation of partnership tax returns by our Tax CPA;
• Produce quarterly financial and narrative variance reports for our partners;
• Produce Annual Plans for all entities;
• Produce the Company s rolling 12-month Forecast;
• Analyze tax impacts of transactions;
• Manage the Treasury function;
• Risk management;
• Information technology;
• Human Resources;
• Policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Our new Controller will be:

• A CPA and/or MBA;
• A user of YARDI Voyager, including the Tenant Portal and Deal Manager modules;
• Experienced in partnership accounting;
• Knowledgeable in partnership taxation matters;
• Skilled in Information Technology;
• Capable in commercial real estate finance and investment;
• Strong in Excel and Word.
