JOB SUMMARY

Tactical MAC oversight and delivery. Includes many of the same steps as Project Management, but on a smaller scale. Title dependent on MAC project scopes (varies by client), different skill levels may be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for managing MAC work order requests
  • May partner with more senior level MAC or Project Managers to execute work
  • Interface with Client End-Users/Project Requestors
  • MAC Project Delivery:
    • Define scope of work; engage the requestor for any additional details that may be needed
    • Includes vendor sourcing (RFP's, Quotes, PO's, Invoice Review), vendor oversight (ordering, scheduling, installation, closeout), change management, and conflict resolution
    • Route for approvals as necessary
    • Follow up to the end-user to ensure client satisfaction


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.

Manages 3rd party project delivery resources/team (typically smaller team). Responsible for tracking performance and motivating team members.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University and/or equivalent related experience.

Prior Project Management experience is preferred.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

None

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Working knowledge in MS Project is helpful. Knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices preferred.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
