JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to perform various tasks and procedures necessary to ensure accurate payroll disbursements to CBRE employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees the day-to-day system operations of the PeopleSoft Time and Labor Module.
Utilizes the Time and Labor Module to validate the accuracy of employee time and attendance entries approved by supervisors for processing. Demonstrates thorough understanding of and proficiency with the following: reported time, payable time, time and labor rules processing and time administration.
Maintains comprehensive documentation of the PeopleSoft Time and Labor module to include requests, modifications and configurations.
Assists in compiling data and special requests during audits, systems or controls testing and other internal/external initiatives.
Meets with functional users to identify technical reporting requirements and coordinates with D & T to develop solutions to meet those needs.
Exhibits effective skills in providing timely service, tactfully handling disputes and creating effective working relationships with employees, customers and co-workers.
Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or Finance and a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years payroll experience required. Experience with Time and Attendance systems such as Kronos Workforce Dimensions and PeopleSoft Time and Labor required. Solid understanding of entire Payroll and Time and Labor processes, underlying configuration tables, transaction tables, year-end processing and reporting required.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
American Payroll Association certifications such as CPP or FPC are preferred, but not required.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using a distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management and client groups to take desired action.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.

Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting department deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to co-workers, supervisor, department and/or line of business.
