Description


Overview
We are seeking an experienced real estate professional to work with senior management and operations teams to monitor investments, maximize the return on investments and achieve the business plan outlined for the portfolio.  The candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of commercial real estate assets throughout the country.  The ideal candidate should possess a solid asset management background with investment and finance experience.   Processes and structure driven including; investment management, development and repositioning decision-making, property-level management, and internal and external reporting expertise.  Experience with commercial debt structuring a plus. 

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage a portfolio of assets, including property operations, hold/sell analysis, debt management, as well as reviewing major decision recommendations and making presentations to senior management.
  • Partner in the decision-making of approving property-level budgets, quarterly reforecasts, development projects and leases that constitute major decisions in underlying fund or partnership documents.
  • Generation of operational level business plans and property performance tracking.
  • Produce quarterly materials and other regular reporting documents for the portfolio.
  • Engage, monitor, and provide continual, real time guidance to third party vendors regarding the management, leasing, and disposition of properties.
  • Prepare regular update reports on property performance for senior management including regular site visits.
  • Provide guidance and support to development team members.
  • Participate in the underwriting and due diligence of new CRE investment opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Finance, Real Estate, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • 3 – 5 years minimum direct commercial real estate asset management experience.
  • Strong writing and verbal interpersonal/communication skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Argus with strong analytical financial modeling.
  • Strong quantitative skills with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Goal-oriented and driven achiever and team player with ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to identify trends and give insights/recommendations for action.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Valuation experience a plus.
  • Project planning and self-management skills.
