Title: Real Estate Debt Underwriter – Analyst

Responsibilities:
- Underwrite and analyze potential loan opportunities, including cash flow projections using ARGUS and/or Excel software, valuations and loan metrics.
- Conduct local market analysis for potential financings including gathering and evaluating economic, demographic and other data.
- Coordinate Origination and Underwriting teams through investment and closing process.
- Prepare loan investment summaries/briefs and related support materials.
- Review legal documents and other materials as part of the due diligence process; abstract key documents; assist in closing process.
- Provide assistance to asset management and leverage teams on closed loans as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of commercial real estate investment analysis experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a finance or real estate emphasis or related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and ARGUS software.
- Able to model and analyze complex debt transactions and waterfalls and convey findings clearly with effective writing.
- Experience with mezzanine debt and preferred equity structures preferred.
