As the largest and most experienced national independent commercial mortgage banking firm in the United States, Gantry arranges financing for some of the country's top commercial real estate developers and owners.  Our relationships with institutional lenders include an expansive line-up of life insurance companies, pension funds, and government-sponsored agencies, as well as commercial and investment banks.  We originate business nationally and service loans in 42 states.  

 

If you are looking for an opportunity to work with some of the best in the business, Gantry’s Los Angeles office has an immediate opening for a Loan Production Associate.  

 

Working within a team environment, the candidate must be flexible, cooperative and professional. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize are essential.  Our ideal candidate must also have sound writing and financial modeling skills with strong attention to detail.

Gantry arranges debt and equity financing from $1 million to over $500 million on behalf of commercial real estate developers and investors.  The position will support staff with due diligence, presentations, analysis and underwriting.

The Production Associate’s principal responsibilities include the following:

  • Performing commercial real estate underwriting and financial analysis;
  • Writing narrative analyses of borrowers, properties, locations and markets;
  • Inspecting and photographing properties and comparables;
  • Preparing financing submission packages;
  • Coordinating due diligence including legal review, lease analysis and commitment compliance during the closing process;
  • Interaction with borrower clients, lenders and other commercial real estate professionals.

Requisite skills and experience for this position include:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to follow through with instructions;
  • Expertise with Excel, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint and Word;
  • Advanced internet research capabilities;
  • College degree required and 2+ years applicable work experience preferred.
  • Real Estate sales license a plus.
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables.
  • Self-motivating individual who is detail-oriented, has strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team under deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload.
