NYC Based ANALYST - JOB OPPORTUNITY

Global Holdings Management Group (US) Inc. is seeking an Analyst to join its acquisitions investment team.  The successful candidate will assist senior team members in the sourcing, underwriting, negotiating and closing of potential equity and debt investment opportunities and the day-to-day management of a large real estate portfolio.

Experience:  We are looking for a recent college graduate with 0-2 years of real estate experience who can join the team and hit the ground running in our NYC office for a relatively immediate start.  Prior summer or full time real estate experience in investment/private equity, acquisitions, banking, finance or similar helpful.

Responsibilities:

• Create, assemble and modify complex financial analyses, including cash flow projections, valuation models and sensitivity analyses, lease calculations, development models, and budget analysis.
• Participate in property inspections and market tours
• Coordinate due diligence on assets, properties and portfolios and assist in closings.
• Prepare investment committee memos and related analysis
• Demonstrate an ability to work both independently and in a team setting across a wide variety of work streams simultaneously

 Qualifications include:

• Undergraduate degree with a minimum of 0-2 years of analyst experience, preferably in commercial or residential real estate, investment/private equity, acquisitions, banking or finance.    
• Demonstrated research, analytical, financial and quantitative skills; meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to think critically to find solutions to new problems.
• Demonstrated interest in the nuances of the real estate investment business.
• Solid presentation and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to communicate well with senior executives both internally and with our investment partners.
• Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented and entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong educational background with a history of academic excellence.
• Strong computer and organizational skills, and proficiency in financial analysis with strong MS Excel skills; exposure to Argus helpful.
• Professional presence and strong collaborator; excellent relationship building skills.
• Strong teamwork and ability to partner well with colleagues inside and outside the team.
