We are currently seeking a Multifamily Asset Management Analyst to join our Atlanta team, but we would absolutely consider candidates applying for a remote or partially remote role as well. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing real estate development firm.

As a Senior Asset Management Analyst, you will support our team and investment decisions by:
  • Reviewing, monitoring, and reporting on the performance of a portfolio of multifamily assets against budget and investment proforma through analysis of monthly financial statements, leasing reports, market data, and various operating reports.
  • Assisting with review and development of annual capital and operating budgets.
  • Researching variances.
  • Preparing memos / reports for presentation to senior principals, as well as debt and equity partners.
  • Monitoring investment performance and returns, forecasting asset performance relative to debt/equity hurdles as well as underwritten return parameters.
  • Researching and evaluating economic, demographic, and detailed real estate market data and capital trends, which impact asset performance.
  • Reviewing and monitoring the progress of capital projects for adherence to both schedule and budget expectations.
  • Analyzing ROI, including rent premiums attained from capital initiatives and/or renovation premiums.
  • Measuring effectiveness of various revenue-enhancing and expense-containing initiatives at both the individual property and overall portfolio levels.
  • Completing various other ad hoc analysis related to operational and financial metrics as assigned.
  • Identifying and offering suggestions in regard to opportunities and areas for improvement; and - as appropriate - implementing applicable  procedures, processes, or tools that improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Keeping abreast of current changes in technology, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training programs, researching and/or subscribing to digital or other professional publications and utilizing other appropriate methods.
  • Conducting property site inspections and market tours (some travel may be required)
  • Creating financial analyses, including cash flow projections and investment return calculations

Senior Asset Management Analyst Skills:

  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Motivated self-starter with effective time management skills and strong attention to detail
  • Great organizational skills and a desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as presentation skills
  • Ideal candidate will have experience in the multifamily real estate industry and some understanding of property-level operations, marketing, and asset management.
  • Educational / employment history (entry level - 3 years of relevant experience) that demonstrates a financial background sufficient to analyze financial data and prepare reports in accordance with accounting, finance, budgeting and cost control principles.
  • Bachelor's degree with excellent academic credentials, preferably in real estate, finance or business.
  • Analysts may work in an office environment full-time, or they may choose to be partially or fully remote; however, occasional travel will be required to participate in meetings, make on-site visits and perform site tours.
