My client was founded in 2001 as a commercial real estate private equity firm. A multi-discipline shop; developing and investing in all types of commercial real estate across the country. They invest heavily alongside their partners, but also raise equity from large single and multi-family offices and institutional investors around the world. To date, they've directly and indirectly participated and sponsored nearly 1BB of projects. Recently, they delivered one of the finest mid-rise, luxury apartment communities in the country worth more than $120,000,000. Additionally, the principal was the visionary behind a build to suit for an elite global technology company valued at more than $170MM. AuM today is approximately 600M. Through careful and organic growth, they’ve positioned themselves for their next phase of expansion.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This individual will support all aspects of Asset Management for the portfolio under the general supervision of the senior leadership team, and in collaboration with the investment team. The candidate will drive investment performance from deal execution through disposition for assets with complex investment strategies including developments and repositioning, in conjunction with JV partners, leasing/sales agents, and technical consultants. The role will include managing both stabilized assets and development projects.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong sense of individual work ethic and can self-motivate. You’ll also need an exceptional entrepreneurial spirit coupled with the ability to manage highly complex national and global relationships among partners, investors, and municipalities. Lastly, you’ll need to manage legal complexities, and generally have a deep sense of ethics. My client is a merit-based, flat organization, where being a team player is required.
