Ascenda specializes in the strategic acquisition and development of multifamily assets nationwide. The firm currently owns & operates approximately 7,000 units of multifamily throughout the U.S. and successfully acquired over $1.5BN of multifamily since its inception in 2018.
Ascenda is active in acquiring and developing both market-rate, workforce housing, and multifamily properties. We concentrate on markets positioned for long-term growth as determined by factors such as job creation, economic stability, and high occupancy rates. We are a rapidly expanding company seeking an experienced Acquisitions Associate to help grow the firm’s acquisitions platform.
This opening is for a full-time position. Base Salary + Bonuses. Based on performance, there is significant room for growth in the company.
About this Job
Job Responsibilities
- Create and maintain relationships with investment sales brokers
- Source development and acquisition opportunities through canvassing properties and contacting owners
- Underwriting and financial analysis
- Proforma budget modeling, evaluating cash on cash yields, IRR, equity multiples, ROI’s, and GP/LP waterfalls
- Create investment memorandums and presentation
- Assist in the due diligence process and closing of transactions
- Organization of leads/principal documents
- Maintain detailed records of phone calls and emails
- Support and help the business grow
- Assist with special projects as needed
