Portfolio Manager – Cincinnati, Ohio

Core Responsibilities

    • People Management
    • Manage teams by proving guidance and support to ALL team members.
    • Grow team through support and mentorship and prepare each member for next career level.
    • Participate in formal leadership training on a quarterly basis and implement new leadership practices in client and team member environments.
    • Create, review, and implement corporate and management platform initiative development.
    • Promote and reinforce Hiffman National culture and company vision by actively participating in company culture events, while encouraging team members to do the same.
    • Responsible for performance management, salary reviews, and goal setting.

Property Management

    • Accountable for all business, financial, and management aspects of the assigned asset and employees.
    • Provide oversight of team’s compliance with all corporate platforms, initiatives and deadlines including but not limited to Building Engines, Online Safety training, CAM/TAX Rec tracking, etc.
    • Provide oversight of major capital projects to ensure projects are being completed in accordance with budget and client expectations.
    • Oversee the preparation of the annual budget and management plan, monthly financial reports, variance reports, and CAM reconciliations for the client.
    • Conduct site inspections at a minimum monthly.
    • Ensure a property inspection program is in place and implemented.
    • Monitor and enforce the terms of all lease agreements for managed assets.
    • Client Success Management
    • Speak to any portfolio issues for the Property Management team and the client (including but not limited to A/R, operational, client, staff).
    • Ensure regular and active participation in client meetings and calls.
    • Ultimately responsible for client and tenant satisfaction.
    • Establishes and maintains positive relationships with tenants and clients and serves as an excellent communicator to strengthen and develop ongoing relationships.

Position Requirements

    • Must have at least 8+ years’ experience in Commercial Property Management
    • Must have at least 4+ years’ experience of personnel management
    • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • MRI and Yardi experience required
    • Strong customer service and organizational skills
    • Must be detail-oriented and a motivated self-starter
    • Must have the ability to multitask and work independently
    • Broker’s License Required
    • BA / CPM / RPA designation a plus
