Schwab Corporate Real Estate contributes to the success of the company by selecting and negotiating acquisition/expansion of existing and future sites to provide an outstanding real estate position for Schwab corporate and retail offices. The group effectively and efficiently handles the day-to-day operation of the firm's portfolio of properties. This Sr. Manager role will focus on Workspace Management Strategy and Occupancy Planning of the people space within our buildings. We ideally are looking for this candidate to be located in Omaha, NE or St Louis, MO

What you are good at
- Project Management - working with internal design and facility teams on space planning, restack moves, employee environment
- Communicating with all levels of an organization on space, seating efficiencies, moves, adds or changes to the space
- Develop plans, with business partners, which link business and real estate strategy to forecast supply and demand for space
- Serve as principal contact with business leaders and internal clients regarding workspace
- Lead and participate in gathering, analysis and dissemination of business requirements and forecasts for the development of strategic planning
- Examine opportunities to optimize occupancy via analysis of growth, allocation and utilization of space
- Develop long and short-term strategic building occupancy plans based on business unit requirements
- Establish workplace strategies, including space allocation guidelines
- Develop and handle alternative officing strategies
- Handle space databases
- Bachelor's degree is required
- A minimum of 5 years of business experience in portfolio management (work place strategy, project management, and corporate occupancy experience)
- Excellent project management skills including experience with architectural planning and programming
- Must be detail oriented and have the ability to analyze and present strategic recommendations for effective space planning and workplace concepts
- Proven ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively
- Demonstrated success by achieving challenging business goals, assuming leadership role and delivering effective solutions to business problems in a corporate setting
- Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines
- Possess strong computer software application skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Databases)
