Hunt Development Group has invested equity and development capabilities in multifamily, single-family build-to-rent, student housing, and commercial developments, capitalizing on our differentiated origination platform and vertically integrated capabilities.

Position Summary

Reporting a Senior Vice President, the Asset Manager is responsible for leasing activities for each asset and/or asset area to which he/she is assigned, and presenting supporting documentation to upper management.  Additional responsibilities include, maintaining and enhancing the value of the physical asset portfolio assigned and the preparation and delivery of decision-making tasks that will include obtaining and analyzing market data, identifying trends, negotiation and preparation of lease terms.  Responsible for documentation, administering lease contracts, reviewing statistics and data, analysis of property performance, including physical and financial condition as well as occupancy rates and potential devaluation issues.


Education

Undergraduate degree with a focus in real estate, finance, business administration, economics, or related discipline.  Hawaii State Real Estate license a plus.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of Real Estate Asset or Financial Management.
  • Awareness of real estate development principles and skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of asset management principles and skills.
  • Strong understanding of real estate accounting.
  • Basic knowledge of model building, real estate research, property underwriting and appraisal techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills critical.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
  • Proficiency with ARGUS and Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, MS Project, and Power Point.

Requires a self-motivated, team player who pays close attention to detail and must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and effectively manage a high-volume caseload.   Ability to work independently but also thrive in a dynamic and team-oriented environment.  Results-oriented with strong project management and execution skills.  Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with ability to sustain strong relationships with clients, peers, and business partners.  Ability to interact with multiple levels in an organization and industry professionals.  Think critically while balancing business goals with prudent risk management.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, and occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
