Financial Analyst

Company.  Pritzker Realty Group (“PRG”) is a real estate investment firm founded by Penny Pritzker to pursue multifamily and industrial opportunities in real estate assets, portfolios, and joint ventures throughout the United States.

Position.  PRG is seeking a financial analyst to assist in the underwriting of industrial investments and oversight of an existing portfolio of industrial properties.  This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, expanding, fast paced and entrepreneurial team.  Responsibilities will include:

• Assist with new industrial investment underwriting, including development of cash flow projections and valuation models
• Research / evaluation of various commercial real estate markets, trends and opportunities
• Creation of deal underwriting presentations
• Review and analysis of development draws, annual budgets, and business plans
• Review of property operating statements and preparation of internal reporting
• Presentation of written analysis and recommendation to superiors
• Organization and completion of transaction and closing activities
• Other activities as needed to support PRG’s investment and asset management efforts

This position is based in Oakbrook Terrace, IL and requires occasional travel.

Qualifications.  The ideal candidate will be a high-integrity, self-driven, resourceful individual with:

• 2-3 years of professional experience in an analytical capacity; prior industrial experience preferred.
• Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, or another quantitative field with a highly competitive GPA
• Demonstrated extracurricular involvement and leadership
• Strong quantitative and writing skills
• Excel and valuation proficiency (DCF, IRR, NPV, etc)
• Familiarity with basic accounting statements / concepts (IS, BS, CF, Accrual / Cash)
• Exposure to real estate investment underwriting considered a plus

• Knowledge of Argus software considered a plus
• Team orientation, flexibility, and the ability to work well under pressure
