An exciting opportunity exists for a Vice President, Finance and Operations to join the leadership team to be responsible for all aspects of the operations.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Experience: Minimum 10 years’ related experience in a real estate/real estate lending or finance environment, plus a minimum of 5 years’ management experience. You will manage a team of approximately 12 staff.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business. MBA is preferred.
Leadership: Provides collaborative leadership to the Trez Forman office and is a team anchor in the frequent absence of the President/CEO, who has a heavy travel schedule. You are trusted to speak on the President/CEO’s behalf. Effectively able to manage up, down and across the Trez Capital organization and acts as a point person for the Trez Forman relationship with senior partners and management at Trez Capital (Canada).
Strategic and Tactical Balance: A strategic and big picture thinker, able to help keep the team focused on achieving the long term objectives. Willing to do what it takes to deliver on the demands of the business, roll up your sleeves and be hands on, as required. You balance priorities, manage multiple demand and deliver results.
Financial Acumen: Maintains a focus on both the top and bottom line. Deep finance and capital stack debt experience and a solid understanding of commercial real estate finance.
Relationship Builder: Exceptional interpersonal skills. Able to build rapport with a wide range of people internal and external to the company, including colleagues across the organization, partners, investors and key relationships. Has significant executive presence.
Capacity: Resilient. Brings tremendous passion, energy and commitment to driving the business. Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively. A steady, confident, high achiever, with the intelligence to drive the pace in a dynamic environment.
