Position Summary

The Project Manager will simultaneously assist with multiple projects and day-to-day tasks across the variety of disciplines under the project development department. Report directly to project director

 

Job Description

  • Assist the project executive in working and communicating with all departments including estimating scheduling, procurement, labor relations, finance, accounting and other services required.
  • Responsible for administering the project from the pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage to completion in coordination and overview of procurement, estimating, scheduling, shop drawing/coordination development, construction, timeline, budget/forecasting, staffing, allotment of available resources, and contract closeout.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with the contractors and design team to review the following shop drawing preparation/approval, equipment/material lead times and required on-site dates, manpower projections, project schedule, quality/performance issues on and off site.
  • Review plans and specifications as required to understand project scope;
  • Assist site management; Perform jobsite visits issue observation and punchlist
  • Track project schedules;
  • Review requisitions, payment applications, and other invoices;
  • Review and track submittals and RFIs;
  • Archiving & Document Control;
  • Maintain drawings, specifications and submittals;
  • Attend project meetings and document meeting minutes;
  • Provide miscellaneous support as required.
  • Review Change orders

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction, civil engineering, project management or similar preferred.
  • 5 to 10 years construction project administration experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  • Must be flexible and have strong multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Strong ability to work with others.
  • Self-motivated and able to take responsibility.
