Position Summary


Position Title: Financial Analyst

Vanguard is seeking a Financial Analyst that will report to the Managing Principal. The ideal candidate possesses both strong quantitative and qualitative abilities along with a significant desire to gain an in-depth understanding of investment sales as well as debt and equity brokerage. Candidates with exposure to multifamily and land asset classes are preferred; however, the position can entail working on a wide array of property types.

Primary Responsibilities

• Excel and Argus modeling of income producing assets as well as joint venture waterfall structures.
• Writing and coordinating the production of offering memorandums and related marketing collateral. Also, assist with preparation of presentation materials for new business pursuits.
• Research and evaluate demographic, economic, ownership, and real estate market data.
• Abstract and analyze complex documentation including: purchase & sale agreements, partnership agreements, leases, mortgage documents, and financial statements.
• Attend client meetings, presentations, and investor site tours.
• Candidates that have excellent sales skills and a high level of self-confidence will have the ability to cultivate new business opportunities for the firm and can play an active role in client management.
• Database management.

Skills & Experience Requirements

• Prefer applicable industry experience of 1-3 years.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study (business, finance, real estate, economics) with a 3.00 GPA or higher.
• Strong desire to succeed.
• Detailed oriented, and ability to multi-task in a driven professional environment.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure, and effectively manage a large workload.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to work long-hours when necessary.
• Candidates with a Texas Real Estate License are strongly preferred.


Compensation

Compensation will be competitive, to be based on the specific experience and capabilities of the candidate.
