Job Summary
Excellent opportunity if you have financial analysis experience with a major commercial brokerage firm!!!

The Portfolio Management Analyst will assist Vice President, Portfolio Management with financial management of the entire real estate portfolio including identifying risks and opportunities within the portfolio, participating in capital market activities and acquisitions/dispositions due diligence's. The Portfolio Management Analyst is also expected to assist Regional Directors in lease analysis and property level cash flow forecast and valuation on as-needed basis.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Maintain global financial models (both Argus and Excel) for assets across the different funds.

Interact with leasing, lease administration, and accounting teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness update of the models.

To the extent available, attend property team meetings to be familiar with and gain understanding of all assets.

Assist with Regional Directors in providing cash flow forecasts and internal valuation as well as evaluating lease proposals on as-needed basis.

Interact with investment sales brokerage community to maintain and update database (sales transactions, cap rate, price per pound) for acquisition/disposition and valuation purpose.

Assist with acquisition/disposition under-writings and due diligence.

 

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Preferably with 2-4 years of real estate financial analysis experience with strong analytical skills and mindset

Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Economic, or Business Administration preferred but not required, MBA a plus)

Proficiency in Excel, Word  is required; Argus experience preferred (Argus Enterprise a BIG plus)

Strong work ethic and an ability to work with limited supervision.

Independent, self-starter mentality, with exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Attention to detail, patience and perseverance are a must.

Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment.

Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written communications and presentation skills.

A strong team player willing to participate in ad hoc projects.
