You are comfortable managing a project with a client from concept to completion and providing your professional input as needed

You are a creative person that easily thinks outside the box

You feel confident in your writing, proofreading and editing abilities

You are quick on your feet and able to solve problems creatively

You're an expert with various software programs including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and the Microsoft Office suite

You have a solid grasp on the fundamental concepts of print as well as basic graphic design principles

You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment

You aren't afraid to voice your opinion and understand Marketing is a team sport!

You are detail-oriented, organized, and are able to manage multiple project simultaneously while maintaining accuracy

You would describe yourself as reliable, consistent, hard-working and an up and comer

You have a team-mentality and are willing to assist team members as necessary and without hesitation

You have experience with print production

You have some knowledge about Commercial Real Estate marketing

Basic knowledge of web design and HTML or MUSE

Description of responsibilities

Generate proposals and presentations within corporate brand guidelines for print or internet.

Create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
Partner with Creative Manager to discuss and determine best design solutions for various business, broker and client needs.

Proactively communicates with Senior Marketing Specialist on project scope and status.

Mid- to expert-level user of PhotoShop, Illustrator and InDesign among other additional Creative Suite software.

May provide estimates on all print and web marketing materials.

Print production support.
May investigate, compare and recommend marketing/design software and production services and tools.

Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
  

Bachelor of Fine Arts degree preferred with a minimum of two years related experience and/or training.


CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
  

None.


COMMUNICATION SKILLS
  

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal clients. Ability to effectively present information.


FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
  

Requires ability to do project budgets and cost estimates.


REASONING ABILITY
  

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires basic analytical and quantitative skills.


OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
  

Must have a solid grasp of fundamental concepts of print and web publishing and graphic design principles. Intermediate skills with web design. Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Familiarity with Adobe Dreamweaver. Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word. Familiarity with MS Excel. Basic project management, editing and writing skills required.


SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
  

Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
