About the position:

The position entails a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Perform financial modeling, specifically for the purposes of sizing debt and equity for the capitalization of commercial real estate acquisitions and recapitalization on assets in portfolio
• Conduct due diligence of assets’ financials including rent roll, operating statements, leases and any other pertinent information relating to the financials and economics of a particular asset
• Evaluation of the feasibility of potential investments
• Create proposals for circulation to prospective lenders and investors
• Cash flow forecasting and analysis of existing operating statements
• Provide analytical support for asset management purposes, including assessment of investment performance, capital expenditure tracking and budget to actual P&L comparisons
• Track market/submarket trends including rental, sales and new development

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• 2-4 years of experience in a financial analysis environment in the mortgage or commercial real estate industry.
• Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal quantitative, writing and communication skills; able to interface with top level executives.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented and strong time management skills to prioritize deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with a team player attitude.
• A demonstrated interest in real estate.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate or Finance, Accounting or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired.
