Description

Aulder Capital is seeking a Senior Analyst for its growing NYC-based Acquisitions and Underwriting Team. The Senior Analyst will work in all areas of the acquisition process, including deal sourcing, initial sizing, due diligence, underwriting, financing, transaction closing, and transition to Asset Management. The Senior Analyst will also assist in training and reviewing the work of all analysts and interns on the team and will represent Aulder at industry networking events in NYC and other Northeast markets. The Senior Analyst position will play an instrumental role in Aulder’s expansion into new markets in the Southeast and Midwest regions.

In deal sourcing and initial sizing, the Senior Analyst will work independently to manage and prioritize the pipeline and review transaction opportunities, including market fundamentals, comparables, and cash flow modeling. For deals which meet acquisition criteria, the Senior Analyst will work with local and remote colleagues to evaluate all aspects of diligence including property tours, onsite market research, expense reviews, environmental reports, engineering reports, service contracts, detailed cash flow analysis, and other items. In the final stages of underwriting, the Senior Analyst will work with senior team members to present transactions to Investment Committee and close outstanding diligence questions. For approved deals, the Senior Analyst will support the financing process by updating marketing materials, then tracking and drafting responses to questions from lenders and investors. In the weeks leading up to and after transaction closing, the Senior Analyst will work with the Asset Manager to transfer knowledge, create a schedule of post-closing priorities, and enable a smooth transition and successful start to the business plan.
