Asset Manager

MCB Real Estate is currently looking for a commercial real estate Asset Manager to join its Baltimore team with 6+ years of experience who can develop and execute operational and investment strategies for a select group of assets. 

Responsibilities

Oversee property management and maintenance professionals including but not limited to responsibility for accounts receivable, maintenance and repair, tenant interactions, lease compliance, vendor activities, annual budgeting, and monthly reporting.

Oversee Leasing professionals to assure conformance with proforma, budget, and strategic plan. 

Oversee construction professionals for assigned development and redevelopment projects to assure conformance with budget and schedule. 

Creation and implementation of strategic business plans for each asset.

Provide institutional-quality reporting and communication to lenders, investors, partners, and senior management.

Assist with lease analysis, negotiations, and proposals.

Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and reforecasting. 

Perform other ad hoc duties and special projects as required.

Assist with acquisitions and dispositions as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

7+ years of experience in commercial real estate, preferably with retail, industrial and/or office properties.

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience with ARGUS software

Basic understanding of loan and joint venture documents

Proficient with Microsoft Office products / Strong proficiency with Excel

Strong understanding of financial, accounting and investment concepts (IRR, equity multiple, return on cost, joint venture waterfalls, etc.)

Must have strong analytical and technical skills.

Must have strong work ethic, and an ability to meet critical deadlines within a demanding work environment
