Loan Asset Manager
3650 REIT has an opportunity for a Loan Asset Manager. The position is responsible for managing all administrative, financial, servicing and reporting aspects of commercial real estate ( CRE ) loans, with a dedicated focus on compliance, risk management and customer service for Performing loans. This position will be based in Miami, FL and report to the Head of Loan Servicing currently located in Chicago. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:- Conduct weekly and monthly review of loans and CRE assets with external Servicers, Sub Servicers and Vendors.
- Review and Analyze Proposed CRE Leases
- Review and Analyze Escrow/Reserve Collections, Balancing of Accounts and Disbursements
- Interface as needed with our Accounting Department
- Review CRE Loan Documents as needed for compliance to agreed upon Terms and Conditions
- Review Principal and Interest Billing & Collection of CRE loans
- Review Insurance Coverage and Property Tax Obligations of CRE Loans
- Review and Track on Tickler System, and/or System of Record, for Loan Covenants, Triggers and Milestones
- Monitor Compliance on all reporting, servicing functions and other requirements of Investor Servicing Agreements
- Communicate with Borrowers on requests and activities, and other items as needed
- Coordinating with origination staff (specific to a loan) post-closing servicing actions
- Complete monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of loan portfolios.
- Responsible for the approval and reporting of status for all servicing actions in process
- Participate in special projects, including site inspections and acquisitions or dispositions of loans.
- Collaboratively work with the Accounting Department to review all billings and collections.
- Track fee arrangements and monitor fees earned on each servicing agreement
- Review loan documents during lease and other consent action negotiations upon request by Legal
- Review Financial Statements provided by CRE Borrowers and compare/analyze against budget/underwriting
- 5+ years proven experience in Servicing and/or Asset Management in commercial real estate preferred.
- Outstanding financial, organizational, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple high priority tasks simultaneously under strict deadlines
- Excellent writing skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability using Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis; experience with other Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a large team.
- Bachelor Degree from four year college
