Sr. Commercial Investments Analyst

Position: Sr. Commercial Investments Analyst

Location: Greater Boston Area

Reports to: Managing Partner

Responsibilities

As a Commercial Investments Analyst, you will support our investment decisions by:

•Underwriting potential acquisitions and development opportunities by performing complex financial analyses

•Evaluating property-level financial data, rent rolls, abstracting documents/leases, and developing operating budgets and capital expenditure budgets

•Gathering macro and micro economic, demographic and real estate market data

•Writing thorough and concise offering memorandums for presentation to Limited Partners

•Coordinating due diligence process for acquisitions and dispositions

•Conducting property site inspections and market tours  

•Assisting with closing of debt financing for acquisitions and refinancing existing assets

•Evaluating lease economics for new and renewal transactions

•Analyzing monthly property-level financial statements and maintaining quarterly and annual reports.

Skills and Qualifications

•Bachelor’s Degree or higher with strong academic credentials

•2-4 years of relevant real estate work experience

•General understanding and strong interest in real estate and capital markets including capital structures (equity, debt, Mezz, Pref’s)

•Self-motivated and team-oriented, with strong time management skills to prioritize deadlines

•Desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment

•Proficient problem-solving capabilities and sound judgement

•Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

•Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, ARGUS
