Associate Investment Group (Debt)

Position Overview:

The Associate will be a member of the Investment Group and will focus on the debt platform. The Associate will
report to the Vice President, Investment Group (Debt). Key responsibilities include underwriting and executing
new debt deals for Rockbridge, leading financing of new equity deals, leading debt refinancings of existing equity
deals, and managing the overall debt portfolio in coordination with Asset Management. Additionally, the
Associate will support the strategic initiatives of the debt platform.

Associate should be a problem solver who enjoys challenges and varied responsibilities at a fast growing and

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in underwriting, due diligence, structuring and execution of debt investments
• Support deal execution, including documentation and closing procedures
• Manage internal and external parties in evaluating and executing deals
• Identify key merits and risks of a deal
• Produce thoughtful work product that facilitates decision making
• Develop investment committee presentations
• Support strategic initiatives of the debt platform
• Form strong relationships within hospitality and finance industries
• Manage multiple priorities, work under deadlines, handle short term and long term objectives
• Mentor / develop junior deal members, including managing one direct report

Job Requirements:

• 4+ years of relevant experience in hotel investing, capital markets, underwriting, and/or financial analysis
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong skill set related to debt investment structures
• Team player; ability to work collaboratively with multiple team members
• Self motivated, detail oriented, well organized and results driven professional
• Dependable judgment and impeccable integrity while interfacing with our various partners
• Some travel required
• Hospitality experience preferred but not required
