Job Summary:

 

The Asset Management Analyst provides support to Asset Managers and assists with the financial and operational oversight of Class A office real estate assets, including, but not limited to financial modeling & analysis, prospective leasing, capital projects, valuation, property-level & portfolio reporting, and supporting the implementation of comprehensive asset strategies. Typical duties would include lease analysis, annual budget reviews, ARGUS modeling, property financial reviews and acquisition / disposition due diligence.

 

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics or related field
  • 0-3 years of commercial real estate industry experience
  • Solid understanding of financial concepts (NPV, IRR, lease comparison, ROI, DCF modeling, payback, financial statements, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite with high proficiency in Excel
  • Knowledge of Argus Enterprise preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills

Job Responsibilities:

 

1.  Provide analytical support for Asset Managers, which will include, but not limited to:

    • Financial analysis of prospective leases
    • Capital payback analysis
    • NPV & IRR analysis
    • Market research
    • Sensitivity analysis
    • Other ad hoc projects as assigned
2.  Maintain integrity of assigned ARGUS models on a quarterly basis, will include:

    • Leasing updates
    • Market Leasing Assumptions
    • Capital Expenditure reforecasting

3.  Monitor property performance, such as the review of monthly financial statements, accounts receivable balances, capital expenditure activity, etc.

4.  Support Portfolio Management initiatives.

5.  Provide due diligence support for acquisitions.

6.  Active participation in assigned region/market(s) (possible activities include periodic travel, portfolio tours, competitive set analysis, broker meetings, etc.)
