JOB SUMMARY
Assists in the maintenance and dissemination of the Location Intelligence and GIS services platform knowledge base, including training new and existing employees about the various systems, data, resources, techniques, and uses of Location Intelligence for the purposes of CRE. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct individual and web-based GIS training with existing staff and new hires.Develop training materials on existing and future processes.
Organize and create training content.Host live and pre-recorded webinars.Work with GIS staff to identify and further develop teams skill-sets.
Communicates with Data Management team and GIS Managers to create best-in-class work-flows on usage of these datasets.
Understand the business/CRE and training location intelligence staff to use GIS concepts in new and innovative way to further the goals of CRE.Supports Sr. Coordinators in research functions as it pertains to GIS concepts, data, methods, products, technologies.
Assists in the implementation of GIS into web-based spatial solutions and geospatial products, so end-users can fulfill their needs through self-service.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with a major or minor in Geography or related field; or Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, with training in GIS technology. Requires 3 - 5 years of experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information in a group setting.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to efficiently solve problems in a very fast paced environment. Requires analytical & quantitative skillsets. Self sufficient learner with ability to stay ahead of the learning curve and the ability to quickly regurgitate learnings with team.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Mastery of ArcGIS Suite and all related extensions including Business Analyst, 3D analyst, Spatial Analyst, and Model Builder. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Alteryx, and the Microsoft suite is highly preferred. Knowledge of GIS terms, concepts and definitions with the ability to clearly teach all levels of users also heavily preferred. Knowledge of CRE preferred and the ability to work with complex mathematical concepts and apply operations such as linear and regression formula and other standardized industry modeling concepts is preferred.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
