The purpose of this position is to provide global leadership of account commercial and financial operations and for transformation initiatives. Provides strategic leadership and support for the drive for value, service improvement and change across an entire GWS global account.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Formulate pricing and manage the approval process for contract scope changes within a fixed price contract model.
Negotiate and manage contract changes with client procurement and operating organizations.
Provide financial and commercial support and review for all global growth initiatives.
Coordinate Global Account Management financials and scorecards with regional GWS leaders
Create, communicate and monitor the strategy, objectives, business plan, budget, policies and operating plans.
Collaborate with Service Line leaders by providing pricing, global reporting, strategic analytics support for initiatives targeted to improve margins and/or drive business growth.
Direct and oversee finance functions, to include, but not limited to: annual budget preparation, monthly forecasting, strategic planning, management reporting, and other special projects.
Analyze and ensure achievement of account performance indicators. Collaborate with AD to develop a concise plan to accomplish the retention and acquisition of clients/markets, focusing on CBRE s value-add as expert advisors .
Directs and provides overall strategic management of the account s global compliance program to ensure adherence to CBRE and client compliance and controls requirement.
Responsible for the overall compliance with client controls reviews/audits, policies and procedures.
Develops, implements and supports business line enforcement of compliance guidelines that ensure quality operations and mitigate risk to our clients and the Company.
Manages the relationship with our client and internal auditors globally.
Provide global oversight for account s strategic sourcing team to ensure adherence to global standards, sharing of best practices, and achievement of savings targets.
Provide strategic oversight and assurance of an effective Supplier Quality Management program
Provide oversight, direction, and guidance on highly visible and complex process improvement initiatives.
Partner with leaders and end-customers to identify and deliver savings opportunities across all functions and activities. Organize and engage account leaders in support of identifying and implementing tangible cost savings and operational improvement strategies.
Provide strategic and tactical guidance on where savings can be generated. As appropriate, directly lead and deliver projects and operational improvements.
Liaise with account leadership to ensure resources are identified in support of portfolio savings and operational strategies. Provide regular updates with key deliverables/milestones to leadership to ensure proper alignment with goals.
Support, as necessary, change management routines in the adoption of savings strategies that drive a change within the historical delivery of services.
Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES


Oversees the work and entire scope of teams responsible for finance, business processes, and process improvement initiatives. Ensures constant team development with an eye towards progression and retention. Responsible for all aspects of HR in regards to department including: hiring, termination (when necessary), compensation, and performance evaluation.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Economics, Business from four-year college or
university and a minimum of ten years experience and/or training in real estate outsourcing business.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

MBA (graduate degree) or preferred, but not required (depending on experience). Professional certification, professional designations (e.g. BCCR, MCR, CPM) and/or graduate level training in commercial real estate is desirable.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the
most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues.
Ability to write reports and manuals using distinctive style. Ability to communicate clearly and
effectively with peers, business people and management. Ability to motivate and work
collaboratively with business partners, key employees, top management, and client groups on
various projects. Ability to handle and manage multiple projects and work streams.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Reviews complex
financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates. Ability to analyze the most
complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions. Develops and implements
financial policies and procedures.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing
strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Ability to
problem-solve, both independently and working as a team. Ability to accurately explain/report
activity in verbal and written communications.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Commercial real estate pricing experience/knowledge, and proven contract negotiation skills.
Experience successfully managing a fixed-price or GMP outsourcing contract.
Ability to work collaboratively across functional, geographic, and client organization to develop mutually agreeable solutions.
Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word,
Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
Strong work ethic and adaptable.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and
business practices to achieve complex results. Responsible for setting project, department and/or
division deadlines.
