Description


CV Capital Funding, LLC is a nationwide direct commercial real estate bridge lender that provides debt capital for a wide range of asset classes. The primary role of the analyst position will be to support the Portfolio Managers with duties ranging from deal screening, underwriting, closing transactions and asset management.

 

Duties and responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

  • Work with the Portfolio Managers to assess deal pricing, sizing and adherence to credit policies
  • Populate financial models with relevant deal metrics
  • In conjunction with the Portfolio Managers, assist in the preparation of a deal summary for a preliminary Investment Committee approval
  • Prepare term sheets in accordance with the approved deal summaries
  • Assist the Portfolio Managers in preparation of Investment Memorandums and deal underwriting
  • Engage third-party vendors for appraisal reports, insurance reviews, environmental reviews and property condition reports
  • Compile relevant market information for properties in underwriting
  • Assist in the review of loan documentation to confirm adherence to the approved Investment Memorandum
  • Assist the Portfolio Manager in monthly loan servicing and asset management to confirm Borrower adherence to conditions set forth in the loan documents
  • Actively manage/monitor borrowers and exit strategies for deals that are closed; creating summary asset management reports for portfolio management meetings
  • Assist the Portfolio Manager in quarterly asset management reporting for Investors.
  • Create marketing materials
  • Assist in organization of CRM database
  • Special projects as required

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with ARGUS is preferred
  • Strong writing skills with ability to narrate background, strategy and market summaries
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills/efficient analytical capabilities
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to manage several deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communicator, comfortable presenting to the Investment Committee
