Description


The Kelemen Company Financial Analyst’s goal is to compile, analyze, and report on real estate data that will assist the company with asset acquisition, hold, and disposition decisions.

Financial Analyst Responsibilities:


• Financial Analyst will report directly with CEO and Asset Manager regarding investments
• Interpret data and analyze results using Microsoft Excel and Argus Enterprise
• Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases
• Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
• Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
• Use data to develop financial models and build Argus and Excel based proformas
• Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about novelty in the field
• Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making
• Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing administrative task as needed


Requirements:


• Bachelor or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• 2-5 years of professional experience in accounting, budgeting, financial reporting or related field.
• Proficient in Argus Enterprise – certification a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office. A Pro in Excel.
• Commercial Real Estate knowledge
• Knowledge and creation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, Financial Modeling, Budgets and Forecast, and Projected (Pro- Forma) Income Statements)
• Organized, detail-oriented, accurate and thorough.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexible to perform effectively in a demanding environment.
