When it comes to hiring trends, we keep a close eye on Corporate Real Estate and our Professional Association partner, CoreNet Global. Just think of the number of companies that have Corporate Real Estate opportunities globally. Names you usually don’t associate with real estate post fascinating opportunities on our Job Network: Walt Disney, Microsoft, Apple, Google, NBC Universal and the list goes on. Last week CoreNet Global released their Corporate Real Estate Index, which measures how trends and confidence levels within corporate real estate indicates larger macro-economic trends. Consider these survey highlights: 75% were either optimistic, very optimistic or extremely optimistic in the hiring outlook and expansion plans for their respective organizations, as well as for overall economic growth. Only one percent was pessimistic. However when asked about the Global outlook the numbers went down 25% to 50% optimistic. 47% believe their company will increase their real estate portfolio in the next quarter as a result of more employees. 40% believed their company would expand their capacity in the next quarter due to projected business growth. When business is expanding, job opportunities expand. Are you ready?
