The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a concentration in Real Estate provides undergraduate students with the knowledge base in finance, real estate investment, development, valuation and strategic planning, which will prepare you for an entry-level position in the real estate industry.

Since most of the electives in this concentration are at the graduate level, this concentration may put students who complete it at a competitive advantage vis-à-vis students from other universities’ programs.

Program Highlights

Walkable urban real estate development and place management is the future of the real estate industry. Metropolitan Washington, D.C. has more examples of walkable urbanism than any other region in the country. The Graduate Certificate in Walkable Urban Real Estate Development addresses the emerging approach to the development, strategy, and management of these mixed-use, walkable places. Students will gain knowledge, insight, and skills needed to handle the unique challenges of 21st century real estate development and place management.

Students must complete all of the required and elective credits from the course options below and are expected to maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above. Courses completed as a non-degree student are not eligible for application towards the certificate requirements.
