JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to provide Program Management for low to medium cross-functional projects and programs. Directly oversees a team of technology professionals in support of developing tools and implementing a project management program for a large construction project.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Leads medium to high cross-functional projects and programs end-to-end using a formal PMO process. Facilitates the development of a charter and integrated timeline. Ensures all functions remain on schedule and issues get resolved or escalated.

Plan and execute against a roadmap of program and project deliverables in partnership with Program Management team. Provide subject-matter expertise in program and project management practices.

Develop and drive change management strategies to ensure results have the greatest impact on organization and achieve strong adoption.

Build relationships with leaders at all levels and maintain clear channels of communication with stakeholders and project team members to negotiate priorities and manage risks. Ability to influence others and move toward a common goal or vision.

Drive and manage implementation of new project management system from stakeholder engagement through planning, execution and launch phases - managing all key steps and stakeholders.

Facilitates regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects (project pipeline). Collaborates with core team to develop solutions and leads project team through implementation and completion.

Coordinate communications across internal and external teams, including upwards communication to team leadership.

Experience building, coordinating, and maintaining schedules and shared resources across multiple inter-disciplinary teams for development projects.

Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner.

Experience understanding and communicating technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Researches and designs application development, infrastructure, or service standards.

Responsible for reporting status of individual and groups of projects and programs. Provides appropriate levels of detail and summarizes complex issues succinctly.

Documents procedures, standards and data governance. Identifies where procedures are not aligned with CBRE or audit standard controls.


Serves as the digital & technology liaison for the area of responsibility, primarily for internal clients.

Other duties as assigned.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages, coaches, and trains a team of Digital & Technology staff and oversees multiple projects


QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE


Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university. Minimum four years of related experience. Prior Supervisory experience preferred.

SQL and Azure database implementation, governance and maintenance is preferred


CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES


PgMP (Program Management Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) certifications preferred.


COMMUNICATION SKILLS


Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.


FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE


Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.


REASONING ABILITY


Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.


OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES


Strong process skills, negotiating, decision-making and analytical skills are necessary. Demonstrated ability in project management processes, tools and techniques.

Ability to build and maintain effective professional/client relationships.

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project.

Familiarity with Power BI and SQL.

Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
