GreenLake Asset Management LLC is an investment manager founded in 2008, registered with the SEC. GreenLake manages three open-ended, alternative asset funds dedicated to making special situation real estate bridge loans nationally. The portfolio spans virtually all commercial real estate asset classes. GreenLake seeks to enhance the value of the portfolio through proven asset management and operational expertise. Loan sizes range from $5 million to $50 million on commercial real property and continues to grow with time.
Position
GreenLake is seeking a loan originator to be based in our South Pasadena, CA; office once government restrictions permit. The originator will generate and develop loan opportunities through new and established relationships with mortgage brokers, bankers and other professionals. The originator will evaluate transactions and will be responsible for conducting preliminary analysis, filling information gaps, creatively structuring loans and ultimately submitting loan applications to underwriting for issuance of LOIs.
Skills and requirements:
- Business Development: Cultivate and develop relationships with mortgage brokers, mortgage bankers, real estate advisors, banks and other types of intermediaries.
- Consistently generate and maintain a quality pipeline of transactions.
- Travel as needed to meet with clients, deliver sales presentations and to perform other business development activities.
- Analysis: Understanding of real estate and finance fundamentals and the ability to perform initial loan screening via financial analysis.
- Recommend transactions based on solid knowledge of local market, real estate and borrowers.
- Marketing: Assist in the development and execution of a marketing plan that allows for the greatest market penetration in the assigned territory.
- Attend tradeshows, conferences and other industry related events for ongoing business development
- Facilitate Diligence and Closing. Coordinate the collection and submission of required documentation from borrowers, brokers and the credit team to underwrite and close transactions.
- Represent GreenLake with honesty and integrity while delivering a high level of customer service to both external and internal partners.
- The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in commercial real estate lending including brokerage, capital markets, structured finance and business development with a proven track.
- Clear and proactive communication.
- Superior negotiation skills and client control.
