About Us:
Treasure Island Development Group (TIDG) is the master developer for the $7B+ master plan community project on Treasure Island and Yerba Buena Island (the Project). The Project is the largest LEED-ND Platinum development in the world. TIDG is a partnership between Stockbridge Capital Group ($21B AUM Real Estate Private Equity Firm), Lennar Corporation (NYSE:LEN, one of the nation’s largest home builders), and Wilson Meany (prominent West Coast developer). 

 

About You:
TIDG is seeking a talented Development & Investment Analyst to join the team and make significant contributions to this highly unique and impactful development project. The individual will strengthen their financial modeling expertise, gain exposure to every aspect of real estate development, interact directly with key internal and external stakeholders including leading partners of the Project, city officials, lenders, architects, and general contractors – all of which will provide significant personal and career growth. Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage cash flows for the overall Project, ground-up condo developments currently in pre-development, and further potential condo and rental ground-up developments
  • Conduct analysis for capital funding and project cash flows by working with the TIDG Director of Development and Project Managers
  • Build new models and analyze financial feasibility for future vertical construction of various asset types, including mixed-use rental products, high rise condos, hotels, offices, and others
  • Gather Project financial information for public bond reimbursement financing and report to City Officials and other various external parties to reimburse the Project for cost spent to date
  • Interact directly with TIDG Partners, lenders, capital partners, real estate brokerage firms, leasing/sales brokers, accounting teams, legal counsel, and others
  • Improve efficiency of process through constant recommendations, updates, revisions and/or creation of financial models, templates, and reports in response to current business issues
  • Responsible for ad-hoc analysis as requested by Partnership

Experience and Competency Requirements:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree in finance, business, accounting, economics, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a real estate related field, investment banking, or consulting; an understanding of real estate finance preferred
  • Demonstrated executive presence to interact with Project Managers, City Officials, and Partners; ability to articulate outcomes of analyses
  • Deep knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite – including Excel & PowerPoint; Excellent real estate financing modeling
  • Extremely strong organizational skills with high attention to detail; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information in a compelling format
  • Strong problem-solving ability – out-of-the box and forward thinking
  • Demonstrated comfort with change and new processes
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
  • Graduate degree (MBA, MRED, etc.) a plus, although not required
