  • Participate in investment management initiatives alongside Tricon's institutional partners, facilitating thorough due diligence, proficiently addressing investor queries, and establishing/maintaining robust investor relationships.
  • Engage in ad hoc analyses that encompass strategic corporate expansion and portfolio growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate on investment level portfolio management across Tricon's single-family rental portfolio, assisting in day-to-day management, preparing and reviewing detailed reporting packages, asking probing questions, and curating essential investment materials.
  • Work hand-in-hand with multiple departments across the organization to cultivate strong relationships, contribute to pivotal growth initiatives, and broaden your knowledge base.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability with periodic travel requirements to gain firsthand insights into investment operations.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university (preferably in business, economics, or related field) with exemplary academic performance.
  • 0 - 2 years of relevant work or internship experience.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Personal Skills and Attributes

  • Analytical thinker, adept at conducting intricate and precise analyses. Confident and willing to challenge the status quo with probing questions.
  • Strong inclination towards teamwork, ready to actively participate in diverse team sizes. Willing to promote a positive team culture, emphasizing collaboration in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with a "can-do" attitude and readiness to multitask across various roles.
  • Potential to demonstrate superior written and oral communication skills, displaying clear, professional communication style. Capable of maintaining composure in high-stakes situations such as meetings with key stakeholders including senior management and institutional investors.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, receptive to creative and unconventional thinking.
  • Keen interest and basic understanding of financial modeling, finance, and accounting concepts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Capable of excelling in a high-paced work environment, showing resilience under pressure and making decisive choices.
  • Inquisitive, with a willingness to learn and explore beyond traditional boundaries, constantly seeking to enhance knowledge and skills.
