SENIOR ASSET MANAGER

COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Duncan Hillsley Capital (DHC) is a value-oriented commercial real estate investment company based in Boca Raton, Florida. The firm was founded in 2008 to capitalize on the dislocation of the commercial real estate market by acquiring distressed and underperforming assets, as well as assisting other investors in restructuring and recapitalizing their portfolios. Since 2005, the company’s principals experience totals more than 22,000 residential units and 2 million square feet of commercial space. Today, DHC has a value-driven investment approach across all risk profiles, repositioning assets to their highest value through renovation and operation optimization.

POSITION SUMMARY
DHC has an immediate need for an experienced multifamily asset manager to assist with all aspects of management and operations of properties in the firm’s growing investment portfolio which includes multi-family, retail, and mixed-use. This individual will take responsibility for execution of the business plan for each asset he or she is responsible for, including execution of capital projects and lease-up programs, with the goal of maximizing value. The ideal candidate has related experience in real estate and is a diligent worker with excellent written and oral communication skills. Responsibilities Include:
• Supervise and execute capital programs in coordination with property / construction manager.
• Develop marketing, PR, and social media initiatives with marketing team.
• Oversee and lead on-site property management teams.
• Evaluate monthly reporting and property performance with property manager and accounting team.
• Coordinate annual budget preparation.
• Conduct property site inspections and market research.
• Assist with financial analysis and due diligence for new acquisitions.
• Present property status updates during committee meetings and conference calls.
• Interface with clients, bankers, investors, property managers, attorneys and third party consultants.

Qualifications:
• BS/BA, preferably in real estate, finance, accounting, or business.
• 5+ years real estate asset management experience with a focus on multi-family assets.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills and competency in other MS Office applications.
• Diligent, highly accurate and extreme attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills.
• Demonstration of critical thinking and problem solving.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
