Director, Business Development


Ten-X Commercial is the CRE marketplace that is a force multiplier for sellers, buyers and brokers. Ten-X precision-matches assets, accelerates close rates, and streamlines the entire transaction process with more than $55 billion in sales and increasing daily. We strive to add intelligence to every part of the transaction through maximizing data & insights to not just react to the market, but to control it.


Ten-X is looking to add a Director to our NYC office. In this role you will be charged with nurturing existing relationships as well as developing new ones with some of the industry’s largest institutional real estate investors to grow platform adoption and revenue. As a key leader within Ten-X’s Commercial Real Estate Business, you will play a critical role in driving new business, providing sales leadership, and be an industry spokesperson and evangelist. 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong relationships at major CRE Institutions
  • Comprehensive expertise in one or more real estate asset classes and extensive market knowledge
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously, each with unique customers/stakeholders    and independent timelines
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, comfortable interacting in a customer oriented environment
  • Proven leadership skills, with strong interpersonal and team building skills including goal setting and conflict resolution

 

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, real estate or related degree; advanced degree a plus
  • Minimum of 10+ years of senior level experience in real estate sales, lending, investment, or brokerage, with a proven track record of leading high-peforming teams
  • Proven experience successfully operating in a uniquely developed business strategy focused on sales growth generation.
  • Travel is required, details discussed in the assessment process
  • Certificates/Associations – ULI, CCIM, NAIOP, SIOR, CPA preferred
